Katherine Frost, a native Texan, SMU alumni and fourth generation event planner, hosting charitable events eventually taking party planning out of the family home and into corporations and luxury weddings. The goal with each event is to create a unique guest experience that is extraordinary and more memorable than the last.
Before launching her own event planning business, Katherine worked for Destination Management Company, or DMCs, and worked with small and large conventions visiting Denver and our surrounding mountain towns. Katherine was responsible for building relationships with vendor partnerships, creating enticing proposals, and executing events onsite. Transitioning to launching an event tech company and teaming up with a robust team of engineers to bring an operational software designed to help planners plan more efficiently to the market. Missing the boots on the ground events, Katherine wanted to find the perfect fit for her background and knowledge. The owners of Red Maple Catering welcomed Katherine with open arms to join the already incredible and diverse team.
